Siobahn Hotaling started her musical career at the age of 15, when she began performing as part of an original folk-rock duo. In college, her love of composition and sound began to interface with the evolving world of music technology, and in 1996 she began making electronic music as well as continuing to write and record her acoustic-based songs.

Over the past few years, Siobahn has split her time performing with a five-person a cappella group, while at the same time continuing to hone her songwriting skills. She participated in the RPM Challenge in 2010, and later that year she began recording demos for her first album.

Her songs focus on very personal and emotional subjects; in all of her musical endeavors, Siobahn seeks to uphold the values of expression, authenticity, and passion. Her songs are honest, challenging, and heartfelt; her intent for writing and performing is to give her audience an experience of joining her on an intimate emotional journey.
